Forever in Love
The day comes and goes
We get closer to the end and the beginning
Each passing moment alive and awake
Grasping for contentment and assurance
Above all is our fate
In treasures not yet known
Held in store with love
The one who knows it all
Each day goes by
We are older in the world’s eye
The further we get from youth
The more we grow together in love
Aging flowers wilting over time
Pieces of memories melting in our minds
Shared expressions coalesce
In heart felt moments of embrace
One fine day the end will be
The fearful call, the shifting life
Away into glory the soul will go
Leaving one another a heart felt blow
Rest assured lovely friend
The moments shared will always be
Important patterns of life’s changes
