Graduating in 97, Sublime, Nirvana, the Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio, and Warren G all ring a familiar bell. I listened to a lot of oldies too (back then, the 50's and 60s) and classic rock, Credence Clearwater Revival was our basketball warm-up cd my junior year. So much noise the younger people make.
