One thing that is not controversial is that the doctrine of Futurism, which 99% of "Protestant" churches believe, was created by a Jesuits named Francisco Ribera in the mid 1500s to counter the Reformation.

That Protestants believe in Futurism created by a Jesuit who has vowed to destroy Protestantism, is telling. That is the doctrine that says there is a future AntiChrist, dispensationalism, pre-trib.
