In Ecclesiastes, Solomon says it is better to be in the house of mourning than the house of mirth, as a person will lay it upon their hearts their end. Considering these matters will make you wise and that will in turn help you appreciate the time you do have. I'm now 43 and can see how quickly time goes, yet knowing what I do now it is hard to imagine what I knew then. There are only vague general glimpses of my past thinking. I do agree that our time when older can be the best, it is up to God to start the clock. I feel like I'm just starting out in life in my 40s, as I'm a late bloomer. Ultimately, when we walk in the spirit and not in the flesh, we find the constraints of time are not as binding. Blessings, keep up the good ideas.
