The Shove It Down Your Throat Society
Once upon a time…
In a land far away, there was a society run by people with deviant ideas from the majority of people in it. They had gotten power by deception out of spite and the desire to control people to their detriment, as a way to punish everyone for not being as deviant as they.
Interestingly, there was a small percentage of people in society who like lemmings would go along with whatever the prevailing deviant ruling class would suggest and promote, even though it went against everything good and honest.
This small minority of people had therefore a large voice in the public sphere, as the perception of the deviant beliefs made it seem more mainstream and widely accepted than it actually was.
Brewing in the common people comprising the majority was a resentful feeling from having the deviant behaviors and thoughts shoved down their throats at every turn, yet their ability to voice their concerns was quickly turned into their being hateful and deviant.
On and on it went until one day the illusion was shattered and the deviant rulers were exposed for the controlling deceivers they really were. The cat was out of the bag, so to say, as the cultural and social forces flipped to the opposite of the former prevailing deviancy.
