Top 6 Ways Medium Could Improve
Medium wish list.
There are more things right with Medium than wrong, yet the things that need to be fixed are really sucking the life out of the platform for many writers. If by chance these suggested improvements were made, I think Medium would become the best writing site online without question for nearly every writer.
As of now, it is the best online writing platform for some, yet not for most. Most writers lose interest when the pennies don’t add up to more than working for a survey site each day, even with a good effort at making things work.
Here are my 6 suggested improvements:
- Earning per view from non-members with ads
- Daily stats for each article
- Total overall view count in stats
- Banning articles created by AI
- Show article view count for readers
- Fix the following feed

Wouldn’t it be nice to make money from views outside of Medium members? Even if it wasn’t a very high RPM, something would be better than nothing, right?
